Until yesterday, our site ranked service pros by how many times their page got viewed. That's like ranking restaurants by how many people walk past the window. It doesn't mean anything.
We switched to ranking based on who people actually contact. When someone taps the call button or fills out a contact form, that counts. Page views don't. It means the pros who get hired actually show up higher on our list, and the ones who are just getting browsed sink down where they belong.
For pros looking for customers, this is honest. You rank because people want to call you, not because you got lucky with search results.
