Service websites work better for you.
We made sure every site looks and acts the same, damn it.

Building one website is hard. Building multiple would normally be impossible for a one-person shop. But because we built the foundation right the first time, adding more took weeks, not months. The roofing site became the model. Everything else was variations on a theme.
The real win isn't speed. It's honesty. When one person maintains multiple websites, you can't hide behind 'different teams' or 'that site is old code.' If the data is wrong, that's on me. If a pro's price is stale, I see it on all of them. If the design is ugly, I can't blame someone else.
We're not done. There's more content to add, more towns to show, more services to cover. But the foundation is solid and the pace is good. That's the kind of thing that feels boring to write about but means everything when you're trying to ship.
