story links on the daily won't break anymore.

Permalinks don't die. We built it to last.

Starting today, every story link from the North Point Daily has a permanent home. No 404s. No broken links. If you bookmark a story or share it next year, it still works.

We built a durable per-article store so each story lives on its own. The story pages don't depend on the daily edition being refreshed. They're standalone.

This sounds boring but it matters. Most news sites delete old stories or move them around. Links die. We're saying no. If we published it, the link stays live.

It's a small promise but it's the right one. You should be able to link to something we wrote and know it will be there.
