The NPCLocal jobs board locks tech pay at acceptance and issues automatic refunds if a job falls through on either side

When a tech accepts a repair job through the NPCLocal jobs board, the listed pay is final. It does not drop if the work runs long, if the customer requests a callback, or for any other reason. The offer shows base pay and any rush premium upfront, and that total is what the tech receives.

If a customer cancels or does not show within 48 hours of the tech accepting, the refund goes out automatically, no dispute process required. If the tech accepts and then cannot make the job, canceling early triggers the same refund. The 48-hour window is visible on the offer before either side commits.
