The South Texas creature game has a real bestiary.

We built a free game you can play in your browser. You run around a map of Corpus Christi, catch creatures, and level them up. Last week we added a collection gallery so you can see all the creatures you've caught without hunting through your inventory.

We also renamed the starter creatures to South Texas names. You used to pick between generic creatures. Now you pick between Montekami, Salsakami, and Raspakami. Montekami is named after monte, Salsakami after salsa, Raspakami after raspado. The whole game is grounded in the Coastal Bend now, not some made-up fantasy world.

The game is still free and still lives in your browser. We're adding more creatures every week, and the leaderboard now tracks how you're doing against other players.
