We run a job board and a directory of local contractors. People ask if we rank them, if we favor paying customers, if we vet them. The answer is no to all three.

We're a neutral publisher. If a contractor pays for a profile or a featured job post, that's advertising. It moves them higher on the page. But we don't say they're better than anyone else. We don't verify their work. You see who posted, you decide who to call.

For job seekers, the board is free. For contractors, listing is free. Featured posts and paid profiles cost money, and that's how we stay alive. But the ranking is honest: paid stuff is marked as paid, and everything else is in the order it was posted.
