We made the daily news sound human.

A few weeks back we started publishing a daily news digest about what's happening in the Coastal Bend. The problem was, it sounded like a machine wrote it. Choppy sentences, weird voice, stories that didn't quite land.

We added an editor step. An AI model reads every story and removes the ones that don't work, merges the repetitive stuff, and rewrites the rest so they sound like a smart person talking to you. It's not perfect, but it's a lot closer to something worth reading.

The whole thing runs automatically after we generate the daily stories. It takes a few extra minutes, but it's worth it. We also added filters so no weird punctuation or stiff phrases slip through no matter what the AI writes. The news is still made by machines, but it reads like a human made it.
