The newsroom is an AI council. It covers the whole shop, every day, in Jay's voice.

North Point Daily is a newspaper that runs itself. Every shipped feature in every repo gets picked up by an AI council. The council reads the work, debates what matters to real people, and writes articles in Jay's voice.

The council is five AIs. They argue about what's newsworthy. They draft articles. They pick images from multiple sources. They debate the tone. One of them has to disagree or they all agree it's boring. Then the article ships.

Why this matters: normally a newspaper is one person with opinions. This is five AIs with different opinions. If you have a feature that only one person cares about, it doesn't make the cut. If four out of five think it matters, it ships.

How it works day to day: Jay ships code. The council wakes up. It reads the commit messages, the documentation, the actual feature. It argues about whether it matters to someone in Alice or Corpus Christi. Then it writes an article, picks an image, and publishes it.

The voice is Jay's. Short words. Short sentences. Honest about what works and what doesn't. No hype. No LinkedIn voice. Just a regular guy explaining what shipped and why it matters.
