You land on a service page and see a rough cost estimate. It's labeled as a rough estimate. You click it and get sent to a form where you can ask for a real quote.
We pulled this feature a while back because it wasn't clear enough. Now it is. The label says rough estimate. The link works. The form is simple.
This is the right balance. A customer gets a sense of cost without us pretending we can quote a repair we haven't seen. A shop gets a lead who already knows the ballpark.
