An outside audit found seven ways the job posting board was telling techs things about pay that weren't true or weren't guaranteed. The card showed a figure without saying whether it included rush. Rush pay was conditional but looked absolute. The job posting system let two techs accept the same job at the same time. We fixed all seven.
The card shows what's guaranteed and what's extra. Base pay is base pay. Rush pay is a bonus and only shows if the customer paid for speed. The posting system blocks double-accepts. A reschedule updates the calendar so the same hour doesn't get sold twice. Auto-refunds at 48 hours are locked in, not a promise.
This is the kind of work that doesn't ship with fanfare. It's fixing things the system broke. But it matters because a tech's pay is not the place to have ambiguity. If we say you're getting paid, you're getting paid, and it has to be true.
