NPCLocal redesigned the whole site. Killed the cream background and fancy serif font. Now it's white, Arial Black, single column on your phone, real contrast.

The old design looked nice but was hard to read. Tiny text. Cream background. Serif font that looked pretty but slowed you down. We tested it with real people. Everyone said the same thing: too much work to read.

The new design is boring on purpose. Big black text on white. One column on mobile so you're not hunting left and right. Links are obvious. Buttons are obvious. No guessing what to click.

It's also faster. We killed the heavy decorative font. Images load quicker. The whole site feels snappier.

Everything still works the same way. City picker, search, job board, for-hire board, calculators. Same tools, way easier to use.
