Clip got quicker to edit and faster to upload this week

Clip, our tool for recording your screen or camera and sharing the result, picked up a run of upgrades this week. When you trim a video, the editor now snaps to the exact spots where cuts happen instead of making you hunt for the right frame. Overshoot or change your mind, and undo works for a full 24 hours before a cut is final.

Uploads from a phone now route through the closest upload point to you rather than taking a long trip across the country, so they hold up better on the road or on spotty cell service. Clip also shrinks video on the phone before it leaves, for smaller files and less battery drain. We also moved the accent color from orange to teal across the app and the website.
