This week we launched a website for Falfurrias Printing, a screen printing shop in Falfurrias, Texas. Eddie owns and runs the shop himself. We built the site, handle the technical side, but it's his business and his domain name. He pays us monthly to keep it running. We also added clear pricing for iPhone repairs on our site, put a chat window on the site so customers can message instead of calling, and rebuilt the booking form so scheduling an appointment is the main focus of the page. The big move: we're learning what it takes to help a one-person shop look professional online without trying to own the business.

We built a site for TAGD Printing in Falfurrias, and this one belongs to the shop owner

TAGD Printing does custom screen printing, embroidery, and specialty apparel for teams and events out of Falfurrias. The site we built for Eddie shows photos of finished work, pulls real customer reviews from his Facebook page, and posts actual pricing broken down by order size. A run of 100 pieces costs less per shirt than a run of 50. The site shows the math at each volume so a customer knows what to expect before calling. Eddie takes the call and gives a firm quote from there.

The setup is different from most of what we run. We own and operate eleven shop sites across the Coastal Bend covering screen printing, towing, plumbing, HVAC, computer repair, and related trades. Those stay ours. TAGD Printing is Eddie's domain name and Eddie's brand. We built the site, handle the phone routing so he knows which calls came from the web, and keep the technical side maintained. He pays us monthly. That owner-keeps-the-brand model is the one we want to grow.

Customers' phone numbers stay off NPCLocal job listings until a technician accepts the job

On the NPCLocal job board, a technician sees a listing, reads what needs to be fixed, and decides whether to take it. The customer's contact information does not appear on the listing itself. Only after the technician accepts does the system unlock a button to call, a button to message, or an email address. The call and message are routed through the system and tied back to the specific job.
