People search for things in a hundred different ways. 'HVAC' and 'heating and cooling.' 'Orthodontist' and 'clear aligners.' 'Hotshot' and 'hot shot trucking.' A local directory was only catching some of them.
The directory looked at what people were actually searching for and found terms it wasn't listing. So it added the alternate names people type. When you search for any of those variations, you land on the right category instead of nowhere.
It's the kind of work that doesn't get noticed but it matters every single day.
