NPCLocal is the directory and jobs board for Coastal Bend. It used to have a pixel-art arcade aesthetic. That was fun but it got in the way. The new design is modern and clean. Same features, better looking, way faster.

The redesign keeps everything that works. City picker still there. Search still there. Demand board, calculator widgets, all of it. But now it doesn't look like a 1980s arcade. It looks like a normal website that someone actually spent time on.

The pros page got the same treatment. Used to be pixel arcade stuff. Now it's clean, modern, and shows what you actually care about. Claim your trade, see the slot availability, see the perks. No decoration getting in the way.

The honest truth: I did this because the old aesthetic was hurting conversion. People came to find a plumber and got confused by the pixel art. The new design gets out of the way and lets the actual service show up.
