NPCLocal launched a free For-Hire board. Plumbers, electricians, handyperson types, contractors, people selling used tools, whatever. You post what you offer. Folks search and find you.
No money changes hands on the platform. You post, someone calls you, you handle the rest. The board is moderated so we kill the spam and scams, but there's no paywall.
Why it exists: the job board is for hiring employees. The for-hire board is for services. If you do side work or own a small shop and want to be findable, this is it. No credit card. No signup. Post, get calls.
Search works by trade, by town, by how recent. You can filter to nearby cities too. Each posting gets a phone number relay so your actual number stays hidden until someone decides to call.
It's live now at /hire. Moderated the same way the job board is. No scams, no spam, no dead listings.
