For The Pros · NPCLocal
Repair technicians set their own appointment times without asking permission.
When a customer books a repair, the tech picks when to show up in two taps.

A repair technician gets a job offer and sees when the customer is available. He picks a time that works for him, confirms it, and that's the appointment. No waiting. No asking the shop owner. No back-and-forth texts.
The customer gets told exactly when the tech is coming. The shop gets a reminder 30 minutes before so they can make sure someone's home. The tech never sees the customer's phone number, so there's no confusion about who's calling who.
We broke this ourselves a few weeks ago with a software update that disabled the phone system between the tech and the customer. We caught it same day, fixed it, and rebuilt the whole process so setting a time is actually faster than it was before.
