every directory needs a disclaimer. ours says we're a neutral place where pros show up and you find them. we're not taking money from them for leads or saying we vetted anyone.
that language matters because it keeps us honest. it tells you exactly what we are and what we're not. it protects the pros too. it's the deal we all agreed to.
on our own pages, we took that disclaimer off because it would be weird to say we don't vet ourselves. but everywhere else on the directory, it stays so nobody gets confused about what this place is.
