The NPCLocal jobs board now alerts techs instantly, shows full pay upfront, counts call time as paid work, and auto-refunds customers when a job goes unfilled

When a shop posts a repair job, the assigned tech gets a phone call, an email, and a mobile app notification at the same time, with no need to log in and check. Every listing shows two numbers before the tech opens the job: the guaranteed base pay and the speed bonus available if the repair is finished by the customer's deadline. A checkmark on the listing means the customer paid for fast work and the tech earns half that bonus for hitting it. Pay cannot drop after a tech accepts. If the deadline is missed, the customer gets refunded the speed-bonus portion and the tech receives only the base rate.

Call time now counts. When a tech calls a customer to clarify a repair or walk through troubleshooting, clocking in starts the meter and the time logs toward their paycheck, visible to the shop as well. On the customer side, if a tech does not accept a job within 48 hours the system issues a full refund automatically and sends the job back out to other available techs.
