You see when the system is working.

You ask a question and wait. Is it working or did it freeze? After a short delay, you see a message that says it's still working. If it's taking too long, you can hit Cancel and move on.

Before, you'd sit there wondering if anything was happening. The message gives you confidence that the tool didn't break. The Cancel button means you're not stuck if the answer is taking forever.
