most sites lock a rating the day it posts. a roofer gets five stars, and it stays five stars forever, even if the next ten jobs go bad. we try to do better.

when you look at a contractor's rating on our site, we weight recent reviews heavier than old ones. if someone's work slips, the newer reviews show it. if they bounce back, you see that too. the rating reflects what folks are saying right now, not hype from two years ago.

it's a small thing, but it means you're not reading outdated reviews.
