Job board privacy — what we keep & what we don't
NPCLocal's job board is built to hold as little about you as possible. Here's exactly what that means, in plain words.
If you're an employer
- Your job post is stored and shown word-for-word — it's public, exactly as you wrote it.
- The email or phone you give is kept private. We use it only to email you your post and its manage link, and to pass applications to you.
- Your contact info is never shown on any public page.
If you're applying for a job
- When you apply, your message goes straight to the employer. They reply to you directly.
- NPCLocal keeps no copy of your message or your contact info. There is no resume database here.
- We never sell or share your information, and we don't track you across the web — the job board sets no advertising cookies.
- Applying is always free. We never score, rank, or screen applicants — we're just the messenger.
The little we do keep
- A simple count of how many applications a post has received — a number only, with no applicant details attached.
- One-way hashed anti-fraud signals (a scrambled fingerprint of a removed scammer's payment card and connection). These are not reversible, are not your name or identity, and exist only to stop repeat scammers from re-posting.
Removing a post
Posted a job and want it down or changed? Use the private manage link we emailed you when it went live, or reach out and we'll help. Posts also expire on their own after about 30 days.
