Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-05-13. Operated by North Point Computers, Alice TX.
What we collect
When you submit our online lead form we collect the name, phone number, and any optional fields you fill in (email, ZIP, description of need). We also store the page you submitted from, the timestamp, and a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address for rate-limit and abuse protection.
When you call one of our published phone numbers, the call is routed through a tracked line that records the call audio for service-quality and follow-up purposes. We capture the calling number, time, duration, and a recording.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request and connect you with a local service provider in the Coastal Bend.
To prove call and lead volume to the providers who pay for routing exclusivity in their category and city.
To improve our coverage map, scheduling responsiveness, and routing logic.
Who we share it with
We forward each form submission and tracked call to the active routing partner for the category and city you matched. That partner is contractually required to use it solely to respond to your inquiry.
We do not sell or rent your contact information. We do not share data with marketing brokers or list buyers.
We may disclose information if compelled by valid legal process under Texas or federal law.
How long we keep it
Lead form submissions are retained for the active follow-up window (typically 90 days) and aggregated metadata thereafter.
Call recordings are retained for 90 days for audit purposes, then deleted.
Aggregated, non-identifiable counts (calls per category, per city, per month) may be retained indefinitely for operations and reporting.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your lead record or call recording at any time by emailing npc@lowbies.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and the phone number you used.
You can opt out of receiving any follow-up communication from a routed provider by telling them so during the call or replying STOP to any message.
You can refuse to provide optional form fields. Required fields (name, phone, urgency, description) are necessary to dispatch a provider; without them we cannot respond.
Cookies and tracking
NPCLocal does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar third-party trackers on our public pages.
We do use the AI-agent-friendly metadata standards (sitemap.xml, llms.txt, JSON-LD) so search engines and AI assistants can understand and recommend our pages.
Children
NPCLocal is intended for adults seeking local services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact npc@lowbies.com and we will delete the record.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date below reflects the last meaningful change. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page.
