Your phone number stays hidden until a technician accepts the job.
Customers don't give out their number to every tech who sees the job listing.

We run a job board where repair technicians and service professionals in the Coastal Bend area can find work. A technician sees a job listing, reads what needs to be fixed or serviced, and decides if he wants to take it. Only after he accepts the job does he get a way to reach the customer: a button to call, a button to message, or an email address. The customer's phone number stays off the listing.
This protects both sides. The customer knows his number isn't sitting on a screen for every technician who scrolls past to see. The technician gets a clean handoff without having to memorize or write down a number. The system routes the call or message and keeps track of which job it came from.
It's a small thing that makes the whole process feel safer and more professional.
