This week we launched a website for Falfurrias Printing, a screen printing shop in Falfurrias, Texas. Eddie owns and runs the shop himself. We built the site, handle the technical side, but it's his business and his domain name. He pays us monthly to keep it running. We also added clear pricing for iPhone repairs on our site, put a chat window on the site so customers can message instead of calling, and rebuilt the booking form so scheduling an appointment is the main focus of the page. The big move: we're learning what it takes to help a one-person shop look professional online without trying to own the business.

Falfurrias Printing has a real website now.

You'll find photos of the work, customer reviews, and prices.

By The Shop · Dispatch from Alice

Eddie runs TAGD Printing in Falfurrias. He does custom screen printing, embroidery, and specialty apparel for teams and events. He needed a website that looked like his actual shop, not a generic template. So we took photos of his finished work, pulled real customer reviews from his Facebook page, and built a site that shows what he does best.

The site answers the first question everyone asks: how much does it cost? We posted the pricing. If you order 100 pieces, the price per piece drops. If you order 50, you pay more per piece. You can see the math for different order sizes. You can call the number on the site, and Eddie will give you a real quote based on what you need.

IPhone repair prices are posted on the site.

For The ProsNPCLocal

NPCLocal is our local-services site that connects Coastal Bend folks with local pros, plus a jobs board.

Your phone number stays hidden until a technician accepts the job.

We run a job board where repair technicians and service professionals in the Coastal Bend area can find work. A technician sees a job listing, reads what needs to be fixed or serviced, and decides if he wants to take it. Only after he accepts the job does he get a way to reach the customer: a button to call, a button to message, or an email address. The customer's phone number stays off the listing.

IPhone repair prices are posted on the site.

One of the first questions someone asks is, how much? For iPhone repairs, we put pricing information on the site. Screen replacement, battery replacement, back glass, water damage, you can see what we typically charge for each one.

The booking form is the main focus of the page.

The booking form is how you schedule an appointment. We redesigned it so the form itself is the main thing on the page, not competing with marketing copy. Every step, picking your service, choosing how fast you need it, entering your information, seeing the total, gets the same visual weight.

You can see what each charge covers on your bill.

When you book a repair, you see the total price. But where does each dollar go? We broke it down: the actual repair is one line, the shop fee (the cost for the technician to use the workspace and tools) is another line, and the diagnostic charge (what we charge to figure out what's wrong) is its own line. You can see what you're paying for at a glance.

Local shops in the Coastal Bend area get better websites.

We've been building a network of websites for service businesses in the Coastal Bend area: screen printing, towing, plumbing, HVAC, computer repair, all the stuff a town needs. We own and run most of them. They all share the same design, the same clear pricing, and the same phone number routing so each shop knows which calls came from their website.
