Job board rules & refund policy
Plain English. This is how posting a job here works.
Posting a job
- Post a real, open job. One job per post. The job seeker never pays — only the employer pays $10, and the post stays live for 30 days.
- We publish your post word-for-word. We do not write or rewrite it. You can edit it anytime with your private manage link.
- Don't post anything illegal, fake, or discriminatory (no asking for a certain age, sex, race, religion, etc.). Don't ask applicants for money, bank info, or a Social Security number.
- We can take down any post that breaks these rules. We may use automated checks to block scams and illegal wording before a post goes live.
Refunds
- If we remove your post because it broke the rules or got blocked by our checks, you get a full refund.
- If you change your mind or fill the job early, the $10 is non-refundable once the post is live — but you can edit it, renew it, or mark it filled anytime from your manage link.
- Think a charge is wrong? Email jay@npclocal.com and we'll sort it out.
How we handle applicant info
- Applicants apply through a private form on our site. We send their message straight to you and keep no copy. We don't build profiles or sell anyone's info.
- Your contact info and the applicant's contact info never show on the public listing. The applicant only reaches you, and you only reach them, through the private hand-off.
- We are not an employment agency. We don't screen, rank, score, or recommend applicants. We just pass along what people send you.
