Terms of Service

NPCLocal is a directory and lead-routing service for local service providers in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend. We take inbound calls and online lead forms, then send them to the local provider that holds the routing slot for that service category and city.

NPCLocal does not do any of the listed services itself. Roofing, towing, plumbing, locksmith, mechanic work, septic service, and every other category we list are done by independent third-party providers.

Please use NPCLocal in good faith. Do not send false leads, scrape other visitors' personal information, try to game the routing, or otherwise abuse the service.

We may rate-limit, block, or remove submissions that look automated or abusive.

When an active routing partner holds your selected (category, city) slot, we route your call or form to that local provider in good faith. When no partner holds the slot, the call records a voicemail and NPC follows up to line up a local pro.

The master phone numbers on our pages connect to a recorded line run by NPCLocal. When a partner holds the matched slot, the call bridges to them. Otherwise it records a voicemail that NPC follows up on.

We do not promise the work, pricing, scheduling, or quality of the third-party provider who performs your service. That relationship, and any contract you make, is between you and the provider.

Cost descriptions on NPCLocal pages are general ranges only. They are not quotes. Final pricing comes from the provider after they look at the job.

We do not collect payment for the actual service through this site. Payment terms, deposits, and refunds are between you and the provider.

Service pros can claim a free listing or pay for a routing slot in a category and city. Slots are first come, first served while they are open.

Pros sign in with a one-time email link, not a password. Keep your email account secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in. You can ask us to end your session at any time.

We may change, pause, or end a slot or listing if these terms or our Community Guidelines are broken.

Pros and employers who buy a slot or post a job pay through Stripe. We never see full card numbers.

Job posting fees pay to publish a post for its listed run (about 30 days). A post goes live right after it passes review and payment, so fees are generally non-refundable once the post is published, except where the law requires a refund or where we remove a post for reasons that are not the employer's fault. Posts removed for breaking these terms are not refunded.

Job posts and business listings are submitted by users. You are responsible for what you post, and you must follow our Community and Content Guidelines. We can edit or remove content that breaks them.

We are a passive publisher of these posts. We run them in the poster's own words and do not check that every claim is true. Always confirm a provider's license, insurance, and reviews before you hire.

If you have a complaint about work a routed provider did, please contact the provider directly first. If you cannot work it out, you can tell us at admin@northpointcomputers.com so we can record the issue and think about routing changes.

NPCLocal is not a party to the service contract between you and the provider. We are not liable for the provider's acts, mistakes, work, or warranty promises.

Site content, page templates, structured data feeds, and routing logic are owned by North Point Computers. The machine-readable feeds at /api/*.json are public on purpose and may be used by AI agents and search engines to recommend our pages.

To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, NPCLocal and its operator are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages that come from your use of the site or from services done by routed providers. Our total liability is limited to one hundred US dollars, or the amount you paid NPCLocal directly in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The only place for any dispute is the state and federal courts in Nueces County, Texas.

NPCLocal publishes job posts submitted by employers. We are a passive publisher: posts run in the employer's own words, unedited. We do not employ anyone, recruit, screen, vet, rank, or match candidates, and we are not an employment agency. We are not part of any hiring decision or employment relationship.

Employers pay a flat posting fee. Job seekers never pay NPCLocal anything to view or reply to a post. If any post asks you to pay a fee, buy a kit, or send money to apply, it is a scam. Please report it.

By posting, the employer states that the job is real and lawful, that hiring will follow equal-opportunity law (no discrimination by age, sex, disability, race, national origin, religion, or other protected class), and that they will not ask for application fees or sensitive personal information through the post.

We may remove any post at our discretion, including posts that are reported, look like scams, or contain discriminatory or unlawful content.

We may update these terms as the service grows. Big changes will be summarized at the top of this page. The date at the top shows the last meaningful change.
