north point daily looks different now.

The Daily used to have a cream background and fancy serif fonts. It looked nice but it was hard to read on your phone. The Nexus council said redesign it.

So we stripped it down. White background. Arial Black for headlines. Single column on mobile. Better contrast so your eyes don't work so hard. No more fancy letterspacing or em dashes hiding in the copy.

The redesign covers every page. Articles, archives, search results, topic pages, the 404. Consistent top to bottom. Images load faster now too. No more watching an empty box while the art downloads.

It's the same stories. Same voice. Just easier to read and faster to load.
