NPCLocal withholds a customer's phone number until a technician accepts the job

New here? NPCLocal is our local-services site that connects Coastal Bend folks with local pros, plus a jobs board.

When a repair request comes in, a technician sees the device, the problem, and the pay. The customer's contact information stays hidden until the tech commits to taking the work. If the tech passes, the number was never exposed. It keeps customer data off the table during the decision and means only the tech who actually shows up ever had the number.

The job board also now leads with the full payout, including any speed bonus or weekend rate, as the first number a tech sees. A breakdown of parts and fees sits underneath, but the total comes first. The change followed cases where techs accepted jobs and found the math did not match what they expected.
