Networking, Wi-Fi & Low-Voltage Cabling in Three Rivers, TX
Inland South Texas climate.
For networking, wi-fi & low-voltage cabling, the service area covers roughly 75 miles from central Three Rivers.
Common reasons to call
- Wi-Fi works in part of the house but not the back bedrooms
- Wi-Fi keeps dropping during video calls or streaming
- New business opening or moving offices, need a network designed
- ISP gateway is fine but the upstairs / shop / detached building has no signal
- Need wired drops in specific rooms (office, AV rack, security camera locations)
- Old router gear is end-of-life and the network has become unreliable
- Adding cameras, smart locks, or IoT devices and the network can't handle it
- Guest Wi-Fi must be isolated from business / family network for compliance
Typical work
- Site survey with heat map of current coverage
- Mesh Wi-Fi design and install (Ubiquiti UniFi, Aruba Instant On, eero Pro)
- Low-voltage data cable runs (Cat6 / Cat6a) with proper terminations
- Patch panel and rack install with labeled drops
- VLAN configuration for guest, IoT, security camera isolation
- Firewall config and remote access (VPN, SD-WAN gateways)
- PoE switch install for cameras, access points, phones
- Documentation handoff (network diagram, credentials, change log)
Typical turnaround
Site survey within one to two business days of inquiry. Residential mesh install usually one day. Small office cabling and rack work two to four days depending on scope. Larger commercial projects scheduled per plan.

Common questions
Why not just buy a mesh kit at the big-box store?
Consumer mesh kits work fine for simple homes. For thicker walls, detached buildings, more than five wired clients, or compliance needs (PCI, HIPAA, guest isolation), prosumer or commercial gear pays for itself in stability. We tell you when consumer is enough.
Do you do wiring for new construction?
Yes. Pre-wire during framing is the right time to add drops. We work with the general contractor and electrician to stage the runs before insulation goes in.
Can you set up Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 7?
Yes. Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points are the current default for new installs. Older 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) gear is honest if budget is tight and there are no >gigabit devices.
Will you tell me where the cable runs?
Always. We deliver a network diagram and label every drop. Handoff includes credentials, IP plan, change log, and what to do if something breaks.
Can you isolate guest Wi-Fi from my business systems?
Yes. VLAN segmentation with a captive portal is standard. PCI compliance for retail with card terminals also requires it.
What about cellular failover for the internet?
Yes. Cradlepoint and Ubiquiti LTE backup integrate with the main firewall and switch over automatically. Worth it for any business that loses money when the wired ISP goes down.
Do you support after install?
Yes. Per-incident at the line item rate, or on a monthly contract for businesses that want a fixed budget. We document everything so the next person who touches it has a map.
